For some, real life circumstances can take some difficult turns, but when there are those with vision to come alongside and offer hope and practical support, good things happen.

Last spring I provided some hand-lettered signs for the REAL HOUSE, a place for folks coming out of the Richmond Justice Center Real Life Program. I was honored when they asked me in November if I could help warm up the 5,000 square foot Community Center they acquired this fall.

The idea is to offer preventative programming for those dealing with addiction and for those coming out of the Real Life Program. With several classroom and meeting spaces, we decided to "name" each classroom with one word and paint a large tree in the common area with the hands and feet of participants. Loved working on this project and having a chance to learn more about the amazing work they are doing. Learn more here.
