Disclaimer: Bins do not solve organizational challenges. Minimizing and intentionality do.
That said, I love using bins INTENTIONALLY to maximize a space and to reduce visual clutter, a huge contender in stressing out this highly sensitive gal. And when it comes to bins, I ALWAYS choose bins that can be used throughout the home and whose purpose can evolve with the needs of the family. A bin that says “TOYS” or “FLOUR” does not offer longevity.
Here are containers I keep going back to:
Belly Baskets - perfect around a plant, for stuffed animals or toys, for your mending, or fold down the handles to use as a bread basket
Water Hyacinth Baskets - great for every room or closet in the house
Open Canvas Storage Bins - great for every room or closet in the house
Y-Weave Storage Baskets - great for every room or closet in the house
Deep Linus Bins - great in a pantry, under the sink, for arts and crafts, or in a bathroom
Glass Canisters - love in the pantry, or for arts and craft supplies
Ikea White Planters - for plants, yes, but also great for arts and craft supplies, or for flatware at a party
Kuggis Bin with Lid - perfect for bathrooms, kitchen, laundry, playrooms, and bedrooms.
